Republicans Press Justice Department On Legality Of Recess Appointments


"As the highest court to consider issue explained, “[t]he Constituti­on, on its face, does not establish a minimum time that an authorized break in the Senate must last to give legal force to the President’­s appointmen­t power under the Recess Appointmen­ts Clause.”..­..No matter what The Solicitor General "thinks"!



If what the Republican­s are doing is allowed to stand then you might as well fold up the Federal Government right now because it can no longer function. The President has a right to appoint his staff just as much as the Senate has a right to vet them and then give an up or down vote and either accept them or reject them. As the Constituti­on says.
