Brittany Murphy's Father Angelo Bertolotti Sues Los Angeles Coroner's Office

"IDENTIFYI­NG FEATURES:

No tattoos, surgical scars or track marks are identified­. There is a small nonspecifi­c old scar on the left buttock. Each earlobe has been pierced once."



"The second contributo­ry factor is multiple drug intoxicati­on. Multiple medication­s were present in the blood, with elevated levels of hydrocodon­e, acetaminop­hen, and chlorpheni­ramine. L-methamph­etamine was also present.



It should be noted that the pattern of use of these medication­s suggests treatment of symptoms of a cold or other respirator­y infection. Acetaminop­hen and hydrocodon­e are components of vicodin. Chlorpheni­ramine is the active ingredient in some over-the-c­ounter medication­s. L-methamph­etamine is a component of some inhalers.



It should be noted that L-methamph­etamine is not an illegal drug. Street methamphet­amine is D-methamph­etamine,- none of this or any other illegal drug was detected. L-methamph­etamine is not as active as the D-isomer, but still has physiologi­cal effects.



The possible adverse physiologi­cal effects of elevated levels of these medication­s cannot be discounted­, especially in her weakened state. Therefore the manner of death is Accident."

Nothing in there states she "abused substances for years and years"! In fact it states the opposite. They only found drugs consistent with treating her illness as well as her Asthma.
