Newt Gingrich Robocall: Mitt Romney Forced Holocaust Survivors To Eat Non-Kosher Food

"Gingrich mentioned it while campaigning in Jacksonville on Saturday, telling voters that Romney "eliminated serving kosher food for elderly Jewish residents under Medicare." Gingrich did not, however, go as far as the claim made in the robocall."

Gingrich actually went further than the robocall by claiming Romney "eliminated serving kosher food". Writers better be careful trying to justify anything that comes out of Gingrich's mouth because it can easily come back to bite them. That being said I wouldn't justify anything either one of them said!

Newt Gingrich: Businesses Will Start Creating Jobs On Election Night If Obama Loses

All I can say is if jobs magically started being created on election night after allegedly defeating President Obama then I will know we, the great US of A, have sunk to the lowest level of scum in the scum pond. That would mean corporations and businesses were intentionally holding back, trying to ruin this Country because a black man was in the office of the Presidency.

I know this isn't the case because the only thing that creates jobs is demand. Also, corporations are too greedy to allow the presence of one person, regardless of the color of their skin, stop them from making money. But Newt would have you think otherwise and sadly there are people who actually believe him. Yes, people are scared of Newt but it's not for the reasons he is convincing them of. They are scared because they/we know there would be no righting the ship after four years of a Newt Presidency. If you think Washington is broke now, wait until we had to try and survive a Newt Gingrich Presidency! Oh, the horror!

Pink Slime, Ammonium Hydroxide Fast Food Ground Beef Additive, Dropped By McDonald's Et Al.

It cost to feed yourself correctly. No matter how much you want to eat better if you don't have the money to do it then it is impossible. Even the USDA breaks down the American diet into four plans:

*The Thrifty plan

*The Low-cost plan

*The Moderate cost plan

*The Liberal plan

http://www.cnpp.usda.gov/Publications/FoodPlans/2011/CostofFoodOct2011.pdf

Each successive plan cost more than the other and the nutritional value increases with each level. Most people in today's economic climate can barely afford to eat the thrifty plan which contains the least nutritional value. So the fact that stuff like this is put into cheap fast food isn't very surprising or at least shouldn't be.

Bev Perdue Retiring: North Carolina Governor Reportedly Won't Seek Reelection

What do you expect? It has to be defeating when you have people like Santorum saying you are evil if you get educated...

“We’ve lost, unfortunately, our entertainment industry,” the candidate explained. “We’ve lost our higher education. That was the first to go a long time ago. It’s no wonder President Obama wants every kid to go to college. The indoctrination that occurs at American universities is one of the keys to the left holding and maintaining power in America — and it is indoctrination.”

“If they taught Judeo-Christian ideology, they would be stripped of every dollar. If they teach radical secular ideology, they get all the government support that they can possibly get. As you know, 62 percent of children who enter college with a faith conviction leave without it. And I bet you there are people in this room who give money to colleges and universities who are undermining the very principles of our country every single day by indoctrinating kids in left-wing ideology. And you continue to give to these colleges and universities. Let me have a suggestion: Stop it!”

Republican Response: Mitch Daniels Delivers Speech After State Of The Union (VIDEO)

"The late Steve Jobs -- what a fitting name he had -- created more of them than all those stimulus dollars the president borrowed and blew,"

It amazes me when these people use their far fetched opinion and try to claim it as a fact. By last count the ARRA created between 2.4 and 3.6 million jobs. I seriously doubt Steve Jobs has created that many jobs even if you include the majority of the jobs he has created in China.

Tea Party Groups In Tennessee Demand Textbooks Overlook U.S. Founder's Slave-Owning History

Right when I think certain people in this country can't disgust you anymore they strike again! These are the same people who tried to tell us the Tea Party is not racist. You aren't supposed to believe your lying eyes as they hold up their signs. It's the "liberal media" trying to convince you when they report about the many emails or pamphlets that get passed around between them. Now when they hold a press conference to tell us how our children shouldn't be taught about "an awful lot of made-up criticism about, for instance, the founders intruding on the Indians or having slaves or being hypocrites in one way or another." That our history was just peachy keen!

They have lost their argument and any credibility they may have had. This is not the Country I grew up to believe in and I refuse to be indoctrinated by these radicals. We need this next election to be a true mandate and to vote them out into an oblivion. This truly needs to be the election of all elections. There can be no mistaking what we want and what we stand for because there is too much to lose.

That is all you can say when it comes to this man, and I use that term lightly. When asked:

He is an avowed Muslim. [applause] And my question is: why isn’t something being done to get him out of our government? He has no legal right to be calling himself President.
All he did was agree with her. What scum!

I don't even know where to begin with this! The sad part is John McCain showed more class than this self professed "Christian" when he was confronted with the same situation. Seriously! And then he had the gall to say it was the media's place to correct the woman when the question was clearly leveled at him.

How low we have sunk as a Country and it took less than a decade!

Newt Gingrich Responds To Ex-Wife's 'Open Marriage' Claims, Slams CNN During 2012 GOP Debate (VIDEO)

I have yet to meet the first person that has waited until their divorce became final before they started dating. As much distaste as I have for Newt I don't even begrudge him for starting to see someone before the divorce was final. Him filing for divorce while his first wife is undergoing treatment for cancer is another story.

You can question ABC's timing on when they released the clip and even the debate moderator for raising the question. But the ex has every right to tell her story and she should not "just be quiet". Someone like Newt would never get my vote but I think people should know what type of character a person has before they attempt to raise them to the level of President of the United States of America.

There used to be a time when that office meant something. But with this cast of characters they are attempting to unleash on the American electorate all bets are off. I am personally embarrassed and tired of being the laughing stock of the rest of the world. It is sad that these are the best they can bring to run against an educated and elegant man regardless of what you think of his policies. The Obama's have shown nothing but class and the Republicans are attempting to bring the anti-class. Shame!

This statement comes from Allen West. If you find yourself on his side of the argument then seek medical help now. As for this statement:

"...unless you have been shot at by the Taliban, shut your mouth, war is hell.”

It shows his lack of compassion for anybody in this Country but himself. On September 11, 2001 every person in this Country was shot at, in a manner of speaking! I would tell him "shut your mouth" but unlike him I learned back in Elementary school that we all have freedom of speech.

When these soldiers joined the Military they were aware we were members of the Geneva Conventions. If they weren't aware it should have been the military's place to make them aware. What they committed were International war crimes and any "congressman" defending their actions and suggesting any other punishment that doesn't include the minimum punishment for the infraction should be ashamed of themselves if not more considering the source.

It should be noted that the pattern of use of these medications suggests treatment of symptoms of a cold or other respiratory infection. Acetaminophen and hydrocodone are components of vicodin. Chlorpheniramine is the active ingredient in some over-the-counter medications. L-methamphetamine is a component of some inhalers.

It should be noted that L-methamphetamine is not an illegal drug. Street methamphetamine is D-methamphetamine,- none of this or any other illegal drug was detected. L-methamphetamine is not as active as the D-isomer, but still has physiological effects.

Dems Fire Back At GOP Proposals To Drug Test Jobless: 'You Pee In The Cup'

"Random drug testing of welfare recipients is scientifically and medically unsound:

Welfare recipients are no more likely to use drugs than the rest of the population.

According to a 1996 study by the National Institute of Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism, differences between the proportion of welfare and non-welfare recipients using illegal drugs are statistically insignificant.[2]

Before the Michigan policy was halted, only 10% of recipients tested positive for illicit drugs. Only 3% tested positive for hard drugs, such as cocaine and amphetamines[3] – rates that are in line with the drug use rates of the general population.[4]

Seventy percent of all illicit drug users (and presumably a much higher percentage of alcohol users), ages 18-49, are employed full-time.[5]

Most types of drug tests fail to detect alcohol abuse – the most commonly abused substance among Americans – and are most likely to detect marijuana use since the active ingredient in marijuana stays in the body’s system longer than any other illicit substance. Therefore, drug tests often fail to identify people who are using more powerful, more addictive and more dangerous drugs like methamphetamine or cocaine, which exit the body’s system in a matter of hours or days."

Dems Fire Back At GOP Proposals To Drug Test Jobless: 'You Pee In The Cup'

You can want in one hand and s**t in the other and see which one weighs more. The fact is the Constitution is the "Law Of The Land" until we as a Country do away with it. No matter how hard certain people might try, I don't see that happening any time soon. I seriously think there are more people willing to fight for it than against it.

Republicans Press Justice Department On Legality Of Recess Appointments

If what the Republicans are doing is allowed to stand then you might as well fold up the Federal Government right now because it can no longer function. Republicans Press Justice Department On Legality Of Recess Appointments

"As Steven Bradbury and John Elwood, two key constitutional advisors during the Bush Administration, explained in 2010:

Historically, the recess appointments clause has been given a practical interpretation. As Alexander Hamilton wrote in Federalist No. 67, the clause enables the president to keep the government fully staffed when the Senate is not “in session for the appointment of officers.” . . . [A 1905 Senate report] cautioned that a “recess” means “something actual, not something fictitious.” The executive branch has long taken the same common-sense view. In 1921, citing opinions of his predecessors dating back to the Monroe administration, Attorney General Harry M. Daugherty argued that the question “is whether in a practical sense the Senate is in session so that its advice and consent can be obtained. To give the word ‘recess’ a technical and not a practical construction, is to disregard substance for form.”

The Senate, of course, does not meet as a body during a pro forma session. By the terms of the recess order, no business can be conducted, and the Senate is not capable of acting on the president’s nominations. That means the Senate remains in “recess” for purposes of the recess appointment power, despite the empty formalities of the individual senators who wield the gavel in pro forma sessions."

Pat Robertson: God Told Me Who The Next President Will Be (VIDEO)

This man has a sickness beyond all compare. He claims, in one of the videos below, that Alzheimer's makes divorce okay". Really? And these are the people who want to hijack marriage.

My mother in-law has Alzheimer's and has been hospitalized for four years now. She is 82 and my father in-law is 84. He travels 35 miles each way every other day and feeds her her lunch each time. She is very far gone as far as I'm concerned there is no love loss. But to him it means the world and he is like a father to me. She still has her days when she shows affection towards him and he laps it up every chance he can. I honestly think him making sure she eats her lunch every time he feeds her has helped keep her around that much longer by keeping up her nutrition.

I guess what I am getting at is know matter how they appear to us we really don't know what is going on in their mind. Nobody has recovered from the disease to tell us what they were thinking. He is one of the best people I have ever met and if we had more people like my father in-law you wouldn't need the likes of a Pat Robertson to blindly lead you where you know you should never tread. Rick Santorum Talks Welfare & Black People (VIDEO)

You do understand the differences between percentage and actual numbers. That should read:

Percentage by Race on Welfare.

White 38.8% of roughly 79% (non Hispanic whites 64.7%) of the population

African American 39.8% of roughly 12.9% of the population

Hispanics/Latinos (of any race) 15.7% of roughly 16% of the population

Asian Americans 2% of roughly 4.6% of the population

Do you see how that works. If 38.8% of whites are on welfare and they make up more than 50% of the population then that is a greater number than 39.8% of 14% of the population. Basic math.

He was asked to clarify and he came off even nuttier. The best part was my previous reply was just a guess. Who knew I was right! This is straight from the horses mouth:

There had originally been some confusion about whether Santorum actually said the word “black,” which he appeared to clear up in the CBS interview by acknowledging that was in fact the statement he made.
