Obama Administration Stem Cell Regulations Temporarily Blocked

"The American people should not be forced to pay for experiments – prohibited by federal law – that destroy human life. The court is simply enforcing an existing law passed by Congress that prevents Americans from paying another penny for needless research on human embryos,"

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The fact this Judge deems the research "needless" proves his bias and should be overruled. I don't find research that saves live and helps prevent disease "needless", but that's just me.

Glenn Beck, Imam Rauf Both Denounced Radical Islam In 2006 (VIDEO)

And the rest of the world will see how the Tighty Righties are treating him and get the perception that this is how the rest of Americans act. So we are still having to get our name out of the toilet it's been in since Bush was President.

Hal Turner GUILTY: Blogger Convicted After Threatening Judges Over Chicago Gun Ban

This man not only put the lives of the Judges at risk but the lives of their family, their staff and their family, and anyone else in the public that would be in the way of someone taking this man at his word.

You might have "freedom of Speech" protected by the Constitution but with that right comes responsibility and with that responsibility come consequences. He's lucky he wasn't brought up on murder charges when some nut job did what he asked them to do.

Tea Party Groups Out AGAINST Net Neutrality

My DSL went down the other night. Something simple to fix if I had a decent ISP. I have a third party ISP whose office hours are 9:00am to 8:00pm and I had to wait until they came in at 9:00am to reset their equipment. Luckily or not, I they let there customers also keep their old dial-up accounts so I could use my modem and dial in until they fixed the problem. It was actually pretty useless because everything is so high speed a 56k modem can't even keep up with the simplest of sites, not to mention this site. I barely get by now because all I can afford is 1.5mb DSL and I really don't want my surf speed getting throttled just because the site I want to go to doesn't pay as much as their competitor. You wouldn't like it if freerepublic.com loaded 10 times faster than Huffington post just because the had more money. I know I wouldn't.

Republican Party Only Winning Key 2010 Poll In Southern States

I awake every day to see who the Republican party has alienated that day. It seems they only want the Christian vote and not the average Christian but the twisted version that they can brainwash. It's really strange to see a political party that wants to limit itself on a daily basis.

Tea Party Groups Out AGAINST Net Neutrality

It truly shows their ignorance for them (The Tea-Party) to not realize the FCC is for Net Neutrality and do not believe Corporations should be allowed to bottleneck the internet for those who aren't willing or afford to pay. Pretty soon they'll start railing against Fire departments and the Post Office.

Dr. Laura's N-Word Rant: Radio Host Apologizes For Offensive Language (AUDIO)

Dr. Laura Schlessinger is wrong. Just because comedians , HBO, or any other person, black or white, uses the "N" word doesn't make it right. If we wish to become a society that wants to aspire to it's lowest common denominator then yes she would be correct. I do not. I always want to try to better myself.

As far as her claiming black people voted for President Obama just because he was black was racist in itself. Of all the black people I know and discussed politics with voted for him because he was their only viable candidate. Yes, they were proud to have someone they could embrace. Black people weren't blind, they saw the racist coming out in droves to the McCain/Palin rallies. Most white people didn't vote for them much less black people. I also don't go around asking my friends what or why they do something based on their skin color or race. I know there are going to be cultural differences and I accept that, not question it at every turn. People say dumb things like "why do black people like fried chicken or watermelon?" when I eat more fried chicken and watermelon than any person I know, black, white, or purple! We can and should discuss race in this day and time but it should be done in a sensitive and tolerant way and Dr. Laura Schlessinger did neither. Just because she is smart and educated doesn't make her always right.

New Hampshire State Representative RESIGNS After Speculating About Sarah Palin's Death

So State Rep. candidate Keith Halloran will go on with his campaign after wishing her dead and maybe win due to Americans short memory, Rep. Timothy Horrigan resigns and stops his campaign just for speculating and saying he didn't wish her dead but if she were she would become a martyr. Am I the only one that sees something wrong here. Speculating about someones remark about a person who has said and done so many revile things including trying to scare the elderly into believing the Govt. was going to create "Death panels" to determine whether they will live or not.

Sarah Palin's Endorsement FAILS Of The 2010 Election Season

As you said :"I am just curious as to what he has "admitted", just for the sake of argument. You have made an accusation, so please, back it up."

Since BushIsAWarCriminal no longer wishes to speak with you I thought I would at least help set the record straight.

"Yeah, we waterboarded Khalid Sheikh Mohammed," the former president told a business audience in Grand Rapids, Michigan. "I'd do it again to save lives."

Bush is an admitted war criminal but as of now is still above the law. My only hope is that Spain is still investigating and will attempt to prosecute him, Better late than never. A lot of peoples disappointment with President Obama is he didn't try to prosecute him and in a small way I can understand why he didn't. With all of the hate and racism being thrown at him and anything he tries to do, had he tried to prosecute Bush he wouldn't have been able to accomplish what he has so far. As much as I wanted to see President Obama prosecute him I do believe it would have divided the country even more than we are already.

Eric Schmidt On Privacy (VIDEO): Google CEO Says Anonymity Online Is 'Dangerous'

I hope you are right but the only thing you mention that I don't think is happening yet is it being sold. With direction this country is heading in relation to corporations nothing would surprise me. The other day I did a Google on a statement someone made in one of their comments here on Huffington Post and the first links that came up were the comments I was researching. I know it's not the privacy issue but it astounded me at how fast it showed up.

Eric Schmidt On Privacy (VIDEO): Google CEO Says Anonymity Online Is 'Dangerous'

Stewart Takes On Ground Zero Mosque Critics (VIDEO)

My mother was raised Catholic. School and the whole nine yards. She had both of my sisters baptized Catholic. When I was born she tried to have me baptized Catholic and the church wouldn't allow it because St.George was no longer considered a saint or something like that. All I know is they would not allow her to baptize me unless she changed my name, that wasn't going to happen, it was a third generation name.

She stopped going to church, I don't know why. I grew up going to various churches and eventually got baptized at a small nondenominational church in Brandywine, Md. as a surprise for my soon to be wife. After we got married at a nice Baptist church here in NC we thought we would go to church there and become members. This is a church I went to as a kid, among the various other churches of several denominations. When we asked what we had to do to become members we were told to get some kind of formal letter where we were originally baptized. When we asked the people at the church in Brandywine about it they said they didn't do that stuff because anybody was welcome in their church. When we told the cul.. I mean people at Bethel Baptist this they said we couldn't join but we were welcome to come to service whenever we liked. Being refused from two different churches I relate more with Deist like our Founding Fathers.
