Ann Coulter Defends Don't Ask, Don't Tell, Booing Gay Soldier

Every time I force myself to read about the ugliness this woman or people like her has to spew I find myself going here http://www.lifewithdogs.tv/2010/06/just-a-dog/. It helps remind there is beauty in the world. If you had to depend on the likes of her to get you through life it wouldn't be worth living!

Obama Healthcare Plan: Justice Department Joins States In Call For Prompt Review Of Law

Kudos to the moderators! I was going to complain on a different thread because the pending time was over twenty minutes. Then I came to this thread and I found out why. They have their hands full here.

I have never seen so much misinformation in all my life. I thought I was on the Fox Nation site. I know the mods won't be able to get them all but I see they are trying. If you are a user and you are honestly trying to post something you think is right and it is deleted then try to find out why it was deleted. You may find out your info was flawed. If you are reading the thread trying to get some good information, be careful because there are people on here trying to mislead you.

I don't know why people would want to mislead others but they aren't helping and that is probably the reason. Regardless, good job mods and good luck!

Obama Healthcare Plan: Justice Department Joins States In Call For Prompt Review Of Law

"By 2014, the Affordable Care Act will prevent insurance companies from cutting off health care payments when people need them the most. In the meantime, the law allows President Obama’s administration to provide temporary waivers to employers who said the law’s interim standards would force them to drop their health plans or boost premiums."

You did catch the part about "temporary waivers" didn't you? Also it's not hard to interpret what the forefathers were thinking since they wrote nearly every thought that popped into their head. Also:

"In July of 1798, Congress passed – and President John Adams signed - “An Act for the Relief of Sick and Disabled Seamen.” The law authorized the creation of a government operated marine hospital service and mandated that privately employed sailors be required to purchase health care insurance."

Planned Parenthood Investigation Is An Abuse Of Government Resources, Democrats Charge

I forgot to mention that no man has the right to tell a woman what she has to do with her body. Congress and the states already attempted to force their rights on women and the Supreme court ruled against them. Hence you have Roe Vs. Wade. It's done. Time to move on. We have more important things to worry about. There are no others rights to be concerned about.

Planned Parenthood Investigation Is An Abuse Of Government Resources, Democrats Charge

Yes, I agree Planned Parenthood shouldn't be getting kicked around. But part of the courts argument was that the Government had no business getting between a decision made between a woman and her doctor.

"Since Griswold, the Supreme Court has cited the right to privacy in several rulings, most notably in Roe v. Wade, 410 U.S. 113 (1973), where the Court ruled that a woman's choice to have an abortion was protected as a private decision between her and her doctor."

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Griswold_v._Connecticut

"Roe v. Wade, 410 U.S. 113 (1973),[1] was a landmark controversial decision by the United States Supreme Court on the issue of abortion. The Court decided that a right to privacy under the due process clause in the Fourteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution extends to a woman's decision to have an abortion, but that right must be balanced against the state's two legitimate interests for regulating abortions: protecting prenatal life and protecting the mother's health."

Scott Beason Apologizes For 'Aborigines' Remark

Either way it was a statement of contempt. Along with the mocking statements he made about "black voters" that was also part of the transcript.

"During court Wednesday, McGregor's legal team presented a transcript of another recorded conversation in which Beason spoke with a group of Republican legislators about what would happen if the Legislature passed electronic bingo legislation and put it before voters in the election in November 2010.

Some said there would be a big turnout by black voters because casino owners would offer free buffets and gambling credits to attract black customers and then bus them to the polls.

"That's right. That's right," Beason said in the transcript."

I'm not an expert but I believe racism is part of human nature. But what is supposed to set us apart from the people of just a few generations ago is education and how we deal with that part of our human nature. Apparently not everybody got that education or upbringing.

Rick Scott Backs Drug Tests For Welfare Beneficiaries, Public Workers And Himself

You left out a lot of context. For example:

"She's been homeless since she was 18. She's now 27 and is pregnant again right now. She says she's staying off drugs until she gives birth but it's tough with an abusive boyfriend.

"If he finds out I went to a treatment center, his words were if I leave him or go to treatment center or anything like that he'll kill me so that's the reason I'm not leaving yet," said Souza."

Society has failed so many people and will continue to until we fix that part of our community. These are problems we are aware of but rather than acknowledge that they are diseases which can be treated when recognized certain people would rather demonize them instead. Rick Scott is a sleaze who either doesn't realize everybody has a story or, more than likely, doesn't care. As long as he makes his millions he could care less. He has proven that by ripping off the tax payers with the whole Medicare fraud deal.

Meghan McCain RedState Parody Post Removed After Lawsuit Threats

You are talking about a group of people who took a satirical article about the President, posted on The Onion, as the gospel. People are going to talk junk about Meghan McCain but if more Republicans thought like her we might not be in the mess we are in now.

The only reason she is concerned about people thinking it was her is because of the form it was written in. But people will continue to be intellectually dishonest just so they can trash someone who considers themselves a Republican. I agree that she should realize that boat has sailed but at least give her some credit for trying, to no avail, to bring them back down to earth.

Trader Alessio Rastani To BBC: 'Governments Don't Rule The World, Goldman Sachs Rules The World'

How can he claim that anyone can make money if they know what they are doing. You can know it all but if you have no capital to put in then you are just plain stuck. There is a reason they say"it takes money to make money"!

It's crap! The rich will get richer and the poor will get poorer. We are living that reality right now!

Netflix Secures Dreamworks Partnership, New York Times Reports

So Netflix will be adding more content in about two years. They will also be losing the Starz content in February 2012. How many more times will they increase their rate between now and then to make up for the lost income from subscribers dropping their service?

Halloween is coming and when you look at their streaming content you see several horror movies getting ready to become unavailable around the first of October. I'm not seeing a lot of common sense moves going on. They still haven't fixed the "saved queue" debacle they created which screwed people out of the amount of movies they can save to their queue. And their customer service sucks. I have never had a problem paying a little more, within reason, for decent service and they are lacking in that department.

Herman Cain Responds To Morgan Freeman Criticizing Tea Party As Racist (VIDEO)

The only thing I can find that quotes your figures are exit polls. According to the Census Bureau:

16,133 Blacks voted which is 65% of "Black Alone" citizens. And that is from a total population of 24,930 black citizens. Why do people put up figures they haven't bothered to check for accuracy?

Herman Cain Responds To Morgan Freeman Criticizing Tea Party As Racist (VIDEO)

You are defending the man that said:

"KEYES: You came under a bit of controversy this week for some of the comments made about Muslims in general. Would you be comfortable appointing a Muslim, either in your cabinet or as a federal judge?

CAIN: No, I will not. And here’s why. There is this creeping attempt, there is this attempt to gradually ease Sharia law and the Muslim faith into our government. It does not belong in our government. This is what happened in Europe. And little by little, to try and be politically correct, they made this little change, they made this little change. And now they’ve got a social problem that they don’t know what to do with hardly."

Do you have any proof of your speculation. The stimulus did work and Republicans made no qualms of going back to their districts and taking credit for the stimulus they didn't vote for. If it's "a healthcare bill that the majority doesn't want" it's is because they wanted a better one not the watered down version that eventually passed to appease Republicans.

Morgan Freeman: Tea Party Is Racist, They're Out To Get Obama

Republicans abused the little bit of authority they were given. They filibustered in record numbers as part of their plan to not allow anything to get done under Obama. So Democrats had no chance of getting anything done. The only saving grace were the three Republicans that didn't totally sell out their principals to keep him from getting anything done. But they still kept any meaningful legislation from getting through so I guess "mission accomplished"!

All Freeman is doing is calling a duck a duck. There is no other reason you could be so hateful to allow a whole country to fall and lose it's standing in the world. Hate is a strong emotion that has a tendency to override logic. Just ask all the people who were murdered because of that particular emotion.

Morgan Freeman: Tea Party Is Racist, They're Out To Get Obama

Your logic is backwards. I see no other reason other than he is black. It would be different if everything in the country were going just swimmingly and Republicans decided "hey, we're going to help our chances and not give this man anything to brag about when he runs for re-election."

But when this country is in the shape it is in and has been that way since he has taken office you don't play politics or "party first". They can't even bring themselves to help the people who are suffering and there are a lot who are, so why wouldn't you move beyond politics to help the people and the country as a whole? Common sense tells you, and has shown in the past, that when any other white haired old white man was in office Republicans would be doing everything they could and campaigning that they were the bigger "patriots"!

You can trash both parties all you want but Democrats have never put their party before the country. They have always tried to do what was best for the country and always attempted to keep politics out of it when the country needed them. We even have the Iraq war to prove it. They were lied to but in the end they didn't know that and voted to go in because they thought it was best for the country.

I respectfully disagree! There has been a whole new market created just to point out and prove Fox has an agenda and misrepresent facts. They do it with facts and truth. You can maybe find a couple of things people on the other networks may be wrong on but they haven't made a business out of lying to their viewers. Most of the commentators on MSNBC will gladly correct themselves if they said something wrong or unintentionally misleading. I have never heard of anybody from Fox apologizing for getting something wrong.
