It matters a little bit. I see more free thinkers among the Democrats. Don't get me wrong, I'm an Independen­t and always have been but The Republican­s have shown me nothing in the way of individual­ism. They vote down the party line and if they don't they get attacked by someone in their own party. I, like many other Americans, don't feel like we have "a stake in the game" because we aren't rich enough. If that trend continues it will not end well.
