Obama Administration Cuts Major Part Of Health Care Reform Law: CLASS Long-Term Insurance Program Canceled

So many people, and I use that term loosely, are happy because Democrats couldn't find a way to help you in your older years when you will be more dependent on others for help. No disappointment in the fact that all politicians regardless of creed could come together to try and help mankind in their years of most vulnerability!

I have seen with my own eyes how people who thought they had all their bases covered still lost everything because nursing homes cost $7,000 and up per month. That doesn't include any of the medical expenses and only covers the barest of necessities. That is the cost for the lowest of the low nursing home. Truly sad!

Herman Cain 999 Plan: Did It Come From SimCity?

http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/politics/2011/10/9-9-9-plan-would-almost-double-taxes-on-middle-class/

"If you have a family of four with an income of just under $50,000, they could end up paying more under the Cain plan. Currently, they are taxed around $3,850 in income tax. Under Cain’s plan, they would be taxed at 9 percent or pay $4,500.

That’s $650 more.

Although the family would save almost $4,000 in Social Security taxes, it would have to give up the child tax credit worth the same amount. Furthermore, it would pay an additional national sales tax of 9 percent on everything purchased, including groceries and clothes, which totals about $2,000.

That means under the Cain plan that family could end up paying $2,725 more.

“It’s going to raise the price of just about everything by about 9 percent,” said former George W. Bush economic policy adviser Bruce Bartlett. “We know from experience and analysis that that tends to hurt people with low incomes.”

The Cain campaign says that his plan will not hurt people with lower incomes because under his plan employers would save $4,000 in social security taxes. That money could then be passed along to the employees creating a system in which everyone benefits."

Do you really think employers would pass the $4,000 savings in social security taxes to you?

Is that a tax plan you could believe in?

Occupy Wall Street: Egyptian Activist Goes 'From Liberation Square To Washington Square' (VIDEO)

It is amazing how you can sense the jealousy the trolls have for this movement. They are trying to fire all cylinders and you can hear the bubbling as their heads are about to explode. As usual they add nothing to the conversation. Just name calling and baiting.

I refuse to allow them to make that penny for a comment from me. These protests are scaring somebody. Just try to stay away from the trolls. Their comments contain even more snark when you ignore them. They need the attention. Don't give it to them.

Allen West And Steve King To Occupy Wall Street Protesters: Clean Up, Find A Message

I made it real simple for these simpletons. I put what Occupy Wall Street wants in pdf format so they can download it and read it at their discretion. They won't because they don't care what they want because it doesn't serve their purpose.

Michele Bachmann Proposes Mandatory Ultrasounds For Women Seeking Abortions

"In the midst of the number one issue, which is jobs and the economy, we don't want to forget the issue of life," Bachmann said at a media event in Iowa on Tuesday. "Because you can get a lot of things wrong, but you can't get life wrong."

So let's force or "coax" women into having babies even if the parents or parent doesn't have a job. Nothing like priorities! Not to mention the taxpayer dollars wasted when this goes to court and the Republicans decide they will defend it regardless of Constitutionality! Kind of like the $1.5 Million to defend DOMA which is likely to be shot down by the courts. So Eric Cantor, who is trying to pit "Americans against Americans"?

Eric Cantor Condemns Occupy Wall Street 'Mobs': They're 'Pitting Americans Against Americans' (VIDEO)

Several people want to draw comparisons between Occupy Wall Street and the Tea party and I don't see it. The Tea Party existed before 2008 but really came into play after Obama was elected and were protesting high taxes even though they were paying the lowest tax rate since the 1950's. Then they were co-opted by the Republican party who wanted to cash in on the hate they were displaying. All the while the Tea Party has been losing popularity.

Night and day! And Cantor is clueless. He is the one pitting Americans against Americans just by making his "Mob" statement. Nothing like a little projection.

Elizabeth Warren: 'I'll Survive' Scott Brown's 'Jabs'

Is it lost on all of the defenders of Scott Brown and these alleged Republican women that "stripping" flies in the face of "The Party of Family Values"? Not to mention these supposed Republican women are defending a man who put woman down because of her appearance. Warren made a whimsical joke about a factual matter and then went on to answer the question. Brown debased a woman for her appearance. That is so "Christian" of him!

In Missouri:

"Last month, the Republican-controlled legislature passed one of the nation's toughest state laws aimed at strip clubs and other adult-entertainment venues. It would ban nude dancing and the serving of alcohol in adult cabarets, force strip clubs to close at midnight and forbid seminude [sic] dancers to touch patrons."

"Proponents say they aim to set minimum standards for an industry that they claim demeans women and contributes to prostitution and related social ills."

Scott Brown: 'Thank God' Elizabeth Warren Didn't 'Take Her Clothes Off'

I also am a big fan of Elizabeth Warren and when she made her remark it was meant as a joke. In poor taste maybe but it was true regardless. What Scott Brown said was mean spirited and a slap to people he doesn't consider as good looking as he is. What she said was a fact and what he said just reinforces a lot of women's self image problems. All he did was try to belittle her and at the same time try to make her out to be an elitist by saying she went to Harvard when she didn't.

I do agree though, we should stick to facts. It reminds me of a saying somebody, which I fanned and can't recall, said:

"Never argue with an idiot. All they will do is drag you down to their level and beat you with experience."

Obama: Wall Street Protests Express Public's Anger

"In addition, the Commission was instructed to refer to the attorney

general of the United States and any appropriate state attorney general any

person that the Commission found may have violated the laws of the United States in

relation to the crisis. Where the Commission found such potential violations, it referred

those matters to the appropriate authorities."

http://www.gpoaccess.gov/fcic/fcic.pdf

Or:

"The bipartisan panel appointed by Congress to investigate the financial crisis has concluded that several financial industry figures appear to have broken the law and has referred multiple cases to state or federal authorities for potential prosecution"

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/01/24/financial-crisis-commissi_2_n_813415.html

So why is he defending Wall Street? He should be defending the people and they have every right to be upset. Nobody has been prosecuted for sinking our economy yet they beat and arrest the protesters for just walking down Wall Street!

House GOP Targeting Title X In Push To Axe Family Planning Programs

It disgusts me and saddens me at the same time that any party would accept candidates like these. There was a day and time when they would be considered too extreme because people understood the consequences behind their policies. Today, with all the hate (pick a subject) they are lauded as the norm for a certain sect of our population. Even to the point of potentially given the right to run this country (in the ground)!

It's been said a thousand times and I will make a thousand and one, if you are a woman and you vote for any one of these cretins then you better hope they don't cut any title x services because you need all of the help you can get (mentally)!

Ann Coulter: Occupy Wall Street Protesters Are Like Nazis (VIDEO)

Rather than listening to the out of context soundbite you should see Roseanne's whole interview. It is filled with truth, sarcasm, and just a dab of reality.

To any of the protesters or future protesters, never speak to anyone with a Fox (News) microphone because no matter what you say it will be taken out of context. The only people who will make it on the show will be the silliest of them all. If you have something real to say nobody that watches Fox will hear it!

Joe Scarborough, Mika Brzezinski Debate Rick Perry N-Word Controversy (VIDEO)

The fact that so many people, especially from Texas, repeatedly said "it's just a name, it doesn't mean anything" just shows their disconnect. It proves Perry and anybody who tolerated it is nothing but insensitive. That word has tons of meaning and has for centuries. It proves Perry has no business running for President, much less being President. You don't have to be a critic of someone to know the obvious.

California Circumcision Ban: Governor Signs Bill To Prevent Circumcision Bans

There is some evidence that circumcision has health benefits, including:

*A decreased risk of urinary tract infections.

*A reduced risk of sexually transmitted diseases in men.

*Protection against penile cancer and a reduced risk of cervical cancer in female sex partners.

*Prevention of balanitis (inflammation of the glans) and balanoposthitis (inflammation of the glans and foreskin).

*Prevention of phimosis (the inability to retract the foreskin) and paraphimosis (the inability to return the foreskin to its original location).

*Circumcision also makes it easier to keep the end of the penis clean.

http://www.webmd.com/sexual-conditions/guide/circumcision

There are some cons to the procedure also. We won't even get into the whole religious and cultural reasons as well (the crux of the Constitutional argument) but no matter how you look at it, it is the parents decision. Nobody has the right to take that away. The parents are the ones who have to make the decision they feel is right for them and their child.
